In 2009 my dad fell ill and in 12 short days he passed away. I was left feeling sad, lonely with an impossible task list of traveling out of state for the memorial service, celebrating the holidays, closing his estate, running my business, taking care of family and a myriad of other things. Could I set aside the grief and keep going? What choice did I have? I decided to finalize the estate before Christmas. “Surely it wouldn’t take long.” I was so wrong.

I spent countless phone hours on hold, writing letters, struggling with banks and credit cards, sorting papers and more. The volume of work seemed to increase with every phone call; I had the wrong form, fill out another one; I had the wrong department, call another one; send the paperwork again, we lost it. Months went by, nothing was finalized. I was emotionally at the end of my rope. I’d find myself sitting, staring off into space crying.

The holidays came and went, so did the memorial service. There was no end in sight to closing the estate. I was completely overwhelmed and frustrated. I couldn’t do any more.

My family decided to hire a company to help. After searching and finding nothing, the idea was born.

Today we are proud to assist families with their final affairs.
